LORRAINE CLEMENT 

President

Hello everyone! My name is Lorraine and I am a third-year IBA student. Growing up I have lived in France mostly, but also in Japan and Luxembourg before moving to the Netherlands. This year, I will the be the president of NFS’s board.

After a year spent as an active member, I decided that I wanted to engage more with NFS and help the association grow bigger. It is a great community of passionate people and I am sure that we will bring great ideas to life during this year. I’ve always been fascinated by the way the fashion industry combines art with something so fundamentally necessary such as clothes. However, it can be perceived as a difficult industry to penetrate and that’s where NFS’s mission is so unique and valuable.

I am very excited to be a part of that mission, and I can’t wait to meet you all!

LOTTE VAN ANCUM

VP & Financial manager

Hi ! My name is Lotte, an original Dutchie, and I am the VP & Treasurer of the NFS board of 20/21! This being my second-year as part of the NFS family, I am very excited to organize the structural and financial side of the society, or in other words, for me communication is key. 

 

Studying Communication and Media and having experience in styling really makes me more passionate about working in the fashion industry every day. I am really looking forward to making sure we can organize as many events as possible in which students with the same passion as me get the opportunity to get to know the industry and the people that work in it. This, in combination with trips and other internal events with the society makes being part of NFS amazing! I hope to see you all soon!

KAYLEIGH TANNER

Marketing Manager

Hi there! My name is Kayleigh, I grew up in Utrecht but moved to Rotterdam since I started my bachelor in IBA. I will continue at RSM, studying MSc Marketing Management. My affinity for fashion and luxury increased over the years, as I gained more experience within this industry. So far, living abroad in Paris was my favourite opportunity of experiencing the industry first-hand.

 

Being Marketing Manager means that I am representing, promoting and updating all of NFS’ activities that we have in store for you! I opt for a more personal and closer engagement with NFS audience, whilst aiming to enlarge our community to represent more inclusivity and diversity. I am looking forward to be in-touch with you to keep providing exciting content for you!

CECILIA ARROYO

Career & Seminar Manager

 

Hello everyone! My name is Cecilia and I am originally from Argentina. Being a third year IBCoM student and a copywriter intern, my background is a mixture between marketing and communication, always with a great passion for the Fashion and Luxury industry. 

 

As C&S manager I will work towards growing NFS’s network and creating opportunities for the NFS team and Erasmus students to engage with Fashion, Luxury and Beauty companies. I will organize In-House events, Seminars, Case studies and other events to bring the fashion industry closer to campus.

CELINE GEURTSEN

Internal Events Manager

Hi! My name is Celine and I am the internal events manager of NFS this year. Last year I was part of the external events team and I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to continue this year as a board member. Ever since I was a little girl I had a passion for fashion. From designing my own dresses to checking out all the awards show outfits of every celebrity. I hope to combine my passion for fashion with my passion for branding in my own business in the future. But first this year! 

 

As the internal events manager my goals is to make everyone feel welcome and connected with NFS by creating a fun, warm and family like internal culture. I will achieve this goal together with the internal team by organizing fun and fashion related internal events for all the active and inactive members this year.

LOTTE VAN DEN BERGH

External Events Manager

Hi! My name is Lotte van den Bergh, I am born and raised in the Netherlands, and a third year International Arts and Culture Student at Erasmus University. This year I will join the board of NFS as the External Event Manager. 

 

After finishing my minor in Fashion last year, I have been eager to gain some hands-on experiences in the fashion field. As an art student I am interested in how the cultural sector intertwines with the fashion industry. One of the places where this happens is at cultural events, like fashion exhibitions and shows. By organizing such events, I hope to create an inspiring environment where NFS can provide for new encounters between fashion stakeholders and students, to share their ideas and strengthen their network. In this way, I hope to contribute to improving NFS’s position as an established student organization in the fashion field.
